Description
Our natural German chamomile essential oil for animals is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Matricaria chamomilla. Markets outside the country know the product as Chamomile German natural essential oil for animals. The plant belongs to the family Asteraceae, and its plantations grow in Bulgaria. The plantations in Bulgaria provide the flowers for the extraction, while the flower heads of the plants of this genus gather the volatile substances of this botanical species. Gentle in strength, the aroma unites sweetness and warmth into one whole. The gentle strength is preserved through steam distillation, while the purity of the entire scent remains natural and unchanged in the fully finished essential oil. For the flower heads, it is precisely the method using steam that remains valid. The flowers also determine the tone of the liquid, since from them comes the light range, varying between colourless and pale yellow throughout the entire volume. The pale yellow tone accompanies the liquid consistency of the product. The consistency of the liquid carries an entirely natural composition. The composition of the product on offer excludes preservatives and colourants, while sesquiterpenes form the main part of the entire volatile fraction in this botanical genus. Natural cultivation of the plant maintains this purity, because it allows the flowers to accumulate their volatile substances along their natural path of development. The advantages stem from the natural character of the composition, along with the Bulgarian origin of the harvest. The advantages also include the soft smell and the complete uniformity of the liquid. German chamomile oil retains its soft smell to the end. The liquid consistency of the product remains uniform and light.
Application
German chamomile essential oil finds application in a wide range of care products for domestic and farm animals, where it is valued for its soothing, anti-inflammatory and mildly antiseptic action. It is included in shampoos for dogs and cats with sensitive skin, paw balsams for dryness, cracking and irritation, as well as in sprays and lotions for relieving itching, redness and inflamed skin. It is suitable for care products after insect bites, for softening the skin around scars and for recovery after injuries or surgical interventions. It is often present in massage oils for muscle tension and joint pain in horses and large animals, as well as in products for relaxation during grooming and veterinary procedures. It finds a place in detergents for gentle cleaning of the ears, the area around the eyes and nose and sensitive areas such as the belly and the inner side of the paws. It is also used in repellents for gentle protection against external parasites, in products for support in chronic dermatitis and allergic reactions, as well as in products for protecting the skin in damp conditions and during a change of season or coat. The light herbal aroma makes it suitable for refreshing coat sprays between baths, for scenting kennels and cages and for products that support emotional stability in anxious or adopted animals.
